Clark joined BPPA in August 2006 and heads up our Defence and Security Unit, providing specialist advice to clients in the defence, security and resilience sectors.
Clark worked for the Conservative shadow defence team in the House of Commons, where he spent three years as the adviser to the shadow minister for defence procurement. He also advised the shadow defence secretary and the rest of the front bench team on equipment and acquisition policy.
Clark worked on Conservative strategy for two public Bills, the Armed Forces Pension & Compensation Bill and the Armed Forces (Discipline) Bill. An experienced political campaigner, he worked closely with the successful Conservative candidate for Shipley at the 2005 General Election. He also worked on the Liam Fox leadership campaign.
