Tom Fraser

Tom joined BPPA in September 2003 having graduated from Durham University with a degree in Politics. Tom specialises in sporting and international reputation management with UK political and media audiences. He has advised a number of high profile sporting clients including Sport England, the FA and a number of major sports clubs.

Tom is currently supporting Madrid's 2016 Olypmic bid. Whilst advising Sport England and the Football Association, Tom was charged with managing the UK political engagement and messaging programmes for both organisations during a period of internal restructuring and helping to promote their work in tackling high-profile public policy issues around health, community cohesion and participation in sport. He has provided counsel to a number of sporting charities and organisations since 2005, helping to position the them with Parliament and reinforce their messaging with key departments.

Tom also advises a range of world leaders and governments on managing their reputations with UK political and media audiences. He worked for the current President of Nigeria, Umaru Yar’Adua, during the 2007 election campaign, providing speech writing support and media management in the UK and Europe. Tom has also advised the former Thai Prime Minister, Thaksin Shinawatra, in relation to a number of international communications issues.

Since 2005, Tom has also provided communications support to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia and in October helped manage the media and political communications issues during HRH King Abdullah’s state visit to the UK.
