Sarah joined BPPA in September 2006, after spending a year on the Chime graduate training scheme.
Her current client list is varied and includes Jacobs Engineering, Inmarsat and the world's largest food service company.
Sarah has worked on an extensive array of international projects. During the recent presidential elections in Nigeria, she helped to manage the campaign and media relations for one of the leading candidates. She has also worked for a number of clients throughout the Middle East, most recently supporting the Abu Dhabi Environment Agency with its UK media relations.
Sarah worked on the Greater London Authority Bill, helping her client manage its lobbying and communications on the Bill during its passage through Parliament. She also assisted the BPPA team tasked with helping secure the passage of Tom Clarke MP’s Private Member’s Bill on international aid transparency.
Sarah has also worked with one of Britain’s leading retailers, building up expertise on policy issues affecting the sector, such as planning, food labelling and Sunday trading.
Many of Sarah’s clients, such as those in the Middle East, have required a cross-disciplinary approach, incorporating both public affairs and public or media relations. Her experience of working across the group on the Chime graduate scheme has meant that Sarah has developed a good understanding of the different disciplines and how they should work together.
