Bell Pottinger was appointed in September 2007 to manage the political and community engagement process to gain planning consent for an iconic 32 storey, mixed use tower on Wandsworth Road in the London Borough of Lambeth.

Political Engagement
BPPA provided Frasers Property with a comprehensive understanding of the political dynamics of Lambeth Council, advised on how to engage with elected members, planning officers and the local community, and on the key messages for delivery. BPPA presented feedback from leading figures in the council and the GLA to assist in the team in designing a final scheme that would be politically acceptable to the council.

Planning success
The scheme was granted planning permission at Lambeth’s October planning committee this year.
