Michael McManus is to join Bell Pottinger Public Affairs in September as a Director. Michael is currently a senior special adviser at Beachcroft LLP.

1993 - 1994 Special Adviser at the Department of Employment

1994 - 1995 Special Adviser at the Cabinet Office

1995 - 2000 Head of Private Office, Sir Edward Heath MP

2004 - 2010 Political & Policy Adviser to Lord Hunt and the BIS & Justice Shadow Teams.

Michael also wrote the first biography of Jo Grimond in 2001.
