Bell Pottinger Public Affairs has hired Liz Lynch as a Consultant. Liz formerly worked at the House of Lords as a researcher for the Shadow Minister for Children Schools and Families, Baroness Verma. During her time as part of the shadow education team Liz wrote speeches, conducted research and advised on the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Bill. Prior to this Liz has worked as a freelance broadcast assistant for BBC Newsnight and as a researcher on the documentary ‘Who Do You Think You Are?’
BPPA has also promoted Chris Parr to the role of Director. Chris specialises in planning policy, community engagement, housing and local government. He advises clients such as English Heritage, First Base Ltd, Frasers Property, National Grid Property and TAG Farnborough Airport. Prior to joining Bell Pottinger in January 2006, Chris spent over two years as Private Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott with responsibility for a broad policy portfolio including housing and planning policy, the sustainable communities agenda, London, the Thames Gateway and the Olympics.
